As the year draws to a close, we at USC Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) would like to extend the warmest holiday wishes to you and your families. May this season bring you joy, rest, and a time to recharge for the year ahead.
As we bring 2024 to a close, we wanted to provide an Annual Summary of 2024. This captures some of 2024’s key metrics, program highlights, and new program developments. From the new Air Quality Dashboard and Public Health Program to the continued dedication to implementing Risk and Safety Solutions, it’s been an efficient year of growth, resilience, and teamwork. The Annual Summary also provides key resources and a look ahead at some of 2025’s planned projects, like the new DURC (Dual Research of Concern) Policy coming in May 2025.
This report is not just a reflection of what EH&S has accomplished, but it is a testament to the collaborative spirit amongst all of us here at USC. You’ve been key partners in launching USC’s Climate Action Plan, a Workplace Violence Prevention Program, a Campus Wastewater Surveillance Program, and more!
