Per the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Guidance for Face Coverings and USC’s COVID-19 Vaccination Program, masks are required in indoor public settings and businesses with limited exemptions.
The revised Cal-OSHA’s Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) allows employees to request N95 respirators without fear of retaliation from their employer. Regardless of vaccination status, USC employees are eligible to request N95 respirators for voluntary use and of no cost to the employee. Departments will be responsible for ordering ongoing supplies for their employees.
